We were very impressed by the Gabelli School of Business at LC. The academic rigor and Consulting Cup were outstanding preparation for a business career. In her last two years, our daughter obtained many internships and today she is an NBC Page having just returned from the Beijing Olympics.

We have loved Fordham since the day we first stepped onto the campus. Moving in our daughter and the full day of activities thereafter felt like our entire family was receiving a big warm hug! Our daughter has embraced NYC and all it has to offer. She has had great opportunities to give back and be of service in the community, enriching her experience.

My daughter loved living in NYC and dancing in the Fordham/Ailey program. She had wonderful advising, even after her semester abroad to Paris when she switched her major. She received a challenging education and came out a much more interested (in the world) person.

Fordham was our daughter's top choice and she applied Early Decision. We were surprised that she knew exactly what she wanted as such a young age. We were thrilled as we wanted our daughter to have a Jesuit education. Fordham has shaped her life and personality and we love the school in every way.

Fordham has been a great experience for my son Charlie. He has thrived at Fordham and loves having the city as his campus. Fordham is a very special place and I’d be happy to answer any questions a prospective family might have.

We went to visit Fordham on a whim - the first school we saw and fell in LOVE! We kept comparing every school back to Fordham. Even though it's close to home, it feels far away and couldn't be easier if our daughter needs to get home. The neighborhood is very safe and the campus is an oasis in the Bronx.

I am a Fordham alumnus myself (FCRH '95, GSE '09) and am thrilled my son is at Fordham! I was not sure how he would take to being at LC but has really thrived there. I am a parent ambassador and active with the alumni association.Your children will be well taken care of at Fordham.

We are so happy we made the choice to have our son attend not only Fordham, but the Rose Hill campus. It's everything we wanted as far as size, history, etc. Couple that with the accessibility to all NYC has to offer and it is perfect. We are only a short drive away in NJ but our son has quickly become a New Yorker and couldn't be happier. We are glad to be part of the Ramily!

Sending my daughter to Fordham during the pandemic was a little nerve-wrecking. But she felt very welcome and was matched with a great roommate that made things easier. My wife and I are members of the Parent Ambassador program at Fordham and we can answer questions about the transition to college, the Fordham experience or anything they would like to know.

My son thought he wanted a school in a small city or town, but as soon as we arrived for a visit to Rose Hill he knew he had found home. Some students explore the city often and take advantage of all it has to offer while other like to mostly remain close to campus. Both are great options. We regularly attend the local events sponsored by Fordham and have been on campus for football games and family weekend events!

As parents, we have been so impressed by Fordham's teaching philosophy of "cura personalis," which focuses on the education of the whole person. Students really do become men and women for others. Our son has embraced all college has to offer, including meaningful relationships with professors, internships, and a club leadership position. Living in Fordham's Bronx neighborhood, our son has also developed some grit, which will serve him well in the future. He has made wonderful friends and we have enjoyed getting to know other parents.

Like any parent I was a bit apprehensive about sending my child (first and only) to NYC for college. My daughter’s first year at Fordham has been the most wonderful experience for both of us! Even though it is far from home, the community is absolutely AMAZING! I know one of the main concerns for parents is safety so I'm happy to tell you all about the measures they have in place from a parent prospective!

I was a little nervous about my son going to school in “the City”. Those concerns evaporated very quickly given the way Fordham approaches safety. Now, NYC is his campus and we are all part of the Ramily! There is no shortage of things for students to do from a cultural, athletic and social responsibility perspective, in addition to the fantastic academic experience! Fordham also offers parents great opportunities to get involved.

Our experience with Fordham as a family has been very rewarding. Our son has flourished in many aspects, not just academically, but as a person. Being part of the Fordham community as an RA as well as a student abroad in London, he has found new strengths and he has worked on his weaknesses to grow. We highly recommend Fordham and we would choose it all over again if we had the opportunity.

I have 3 degrees from Fordham (FCRH ’87; GSE ’90; MBA GABELLI ’97) and met my wife there (FCRH ‘87). I was editor of The Ram my senior year., too! Our three boys are current Rams and our two undergrads play on the Men’s Club Soccer team. When all is said and done, we will have 7 degrees from Fordham in the same family. Suffice it to say, we are truly a Fordham family and bleed maroon!

We live just 30 minutes outside of NYC so are well aware of the perception of sending a student to NYC. Our first visit eliminated any of those fears. The RH campus is contained and the expansion of campus security to the areas outside of campus made our decision as a family that much easier. Our daughter fell in love from the first visit and it quickly became her top choice. I continue to be involved in the university as a member of the Parent Ambassador Committee and visit the campus regularly as a football and basketball season ticket holder.
