The 2023 CSUR Program Application is NOW OPEN

Program Dates: June 5 - August 11, 2023

Selection Process

Successful CSUR candidates will be matched with research mentors with similar research interests, based on the topics listed in our application. This year we anticipate that we will offer up to seven (7) awards to qualified undergraduates interested in conducting independent research for 10 -weeks during the summer (June 5 - August 11, 2023) in one of the areas of focus.

Application deadline is March 10, 2023. Decisions will be made and students contacted by April 14, 2023.

Candidate must be an undergraduate who does not intend to graduate on or before May 31, 2023. 

How to Apply

First, download the electronic application, complete the questions, and email it to REUatCalder@fordham.edu. Additional submission details can be found in the application.  It is strongly preferred that applications be sent electronically. If unable to do so, please mail the application to the address provided on the PDF file. 

Individuals from groups that are traditionally underrepresented in STEM are strongly encouraged to apply.  Prior research experience is not required to be considered for the program.
